A very nice cafe. Not far from the interesting parish Church, although in an unprepossessing local shopping area, this Victorian themed cafe provided us with a very nice lunch of freshly made sandwiches and the excellent Russian caravan tea. The menu is not extensive but will cater for your needs for a light lunch or tea. A couple of minor points could be improved: a greeting when we enter (no other customers) would have been nice, the requested glass of water could be brought much more promptly, and a choice of salad dressing would be good - or at least a warning that it's honey and mustard (far too sweet for me). But I'll go back here if I am in the area again.
Fresh scones and lovely pot of tea... My only criticism would be the lack of clotted cream. It was enough for one scone but you had to eek it to use on two. Think it might have been the end of their day and the dregs left , but it was still enjoyable and would go again! Place was lovely inside, and clean and friendly too.

Best cafe in Paignton Sheena, Lesley and the girls go out of their way to provide best service and make you feel welcome. Fab breakfasts, fab food, fab homemade cakes. Excellent
Portions are of a very good size, scones and cakes are beautiful, and the staff are always smiling!! Beautiful cafe in a perfect spot!

A lovely Agatha Christie styled tea room and gift shop, with the most authentic cream tea I've ever had! Worth the walk down through the harbour just to try it. The staff are friendly and really seem to care about every customer, and the view of the harbour on a sunny day shouldn't be missed.
Great place to eat. Lovely food at fair prices. Good views of the harbour. Friendly staff. Can't ask for more.

Cheap fish & chips. Good selection. Very cheap!
Great staff and nice food we go every time we go on holiday

Haddock and chips were cooked to order which took a short time but meant that the fish was fresh and crisp. The chips were also decent. Lots of seagulls in the area. Not the cheapest at £7.10 but pleasant food so would return.
Nice fish and chips, Outside sitting area could of done with some umbrella's.

Wonderful surprise in the high street. Home made cakes and savouries. Highly recommended. Veggie and vegan options available too. Friendly helpful proprietors. Stayed open to serve us. Offered useful sightseeing tips too. Thank you.
went there every day, always great food and service. freshly made and at a good price. baguettes were really tasty on there own without fillings, wrapped in a paper plate with a serviette and put in a paper bag so no plastic for the environmentally conscious.

we had a very enjoyable meal, staff friendly and officiant. Was found a table for two on one of the busiest weekends of summer, we both loved the adult only section! we are parents of 3, but when having us time enjoyed the fact we didn't have to spend our evening with other people's children.. Great idea, well done.
Friendly service and helpful staff. The food is very outstanding and delicious served on warm plates which is good quality. I had a pizza, but didn't enjoy it that much as it was too tomatoey. Excellent food, but pizzas need more improvement. However, it's a stunning and a welcoming place by the sea side.

Average. Steak was tender, but just warm. Chips and onion rings hot, but peas cold, least they weren't over cooked. Kids meals: chicken dippers looked better than the burger which looked very unappealing. Presented with the tiniest bowl of beans which were barely tepid. Milkshakes looked good, but low on flavour. Probably wouldn't return in a hurry
Very friendly staff and excellent food very clean value for money on food

I always have a really great service anytime we go to or phone up this Chinese, I ordered from there and they cook it to include reasonable special requests or cooking type, such as I ask for my rice meals & chicken balls to be cooked ‘Well done’. Thomas, the owner, has always been a great guy to talk to when he delivers your food or when you talk to him at the shop. To this day I’ve never so far had a bad meal, other reviews complaining about food I could easily say are over reacting.
Very nice food at a reasonable price and a better than usual selection of bean curd dishes.

Excellent Chinese, been going there over 30 years and always excellent food.

Very Nice Food and Service. Would definitely visit again.
We have eaten a takeaway of chicken tikka madras, lamb madras, mushroom fried rice and saag bahjee. Absolutely excellent, we ordered extra hot though, as previous wasn't very hot, it was tasty, hot and full of spicy flavours. Chicken was succulent. Sauce was full and rich. The saag was beautiful, full of flavour. Very very tasty Indian takeaway. The best in Paignton and we have tried quite a few of them.

Nice food... if you're happy to wait about 3 days to get it! Seriously, over 2 hours waiting isn't really on

Being self-employed locally we often drop by this KFC on our way into, or out of Booker. It's a handy place for a spot of lunch. The location is great and the parking is ample. We've never tried the drive through so can't comment, but the restaurant is fantastic. Staff are helpful and friendly, the interior is clean and cool (in the summer). It's only a KFC, but it's a bloody good one. No complaints from us.
OK for a quick snack. Reasonable price compared with other fast food outlets. But every time we come they always seem to be out of key ingredients. My daughters kids meal seems to always be missing g something. Last time no buns for the burgers! Come on now that's just madness.

Nice for fast food. Enjoyed food. Staff helpful. Nice and clean. Chips cold after 2min. Rest of food hot. Would I go again YES.
Semi automated restaurant. Not much interaction from staff. Clean and tidy. Food good quality for MacDonalds. Why not 5 stars? Staff filtering through for their breaks in uniform with fags (unlit). Spoke to a the team leader. He suggested that the staff don't have a dedicated door for themselves. It does put customers off. Hope they see this comment and do something about it.
