Fabulous new space with coffee bar, wifi and bookable computers on internet. Friendly locals and helpful staff. A valuable investment in Torbay culture by the local council.
I printed a ticket for the VIP parking on Victoria road for the Torbay Air Show. The library attendant was very helpful and quick to attend to me. She also had a very welcoming demeanour. I observed that the library is also being well utilised as compared to other small town libraries. The services being provided must be well tailored to the requirements of the customers.

I don't normally do reviews but just seen the negative reviews and thought that I had better add some balance. We have been on the two hour mackerel fishing trip today on the Boy Richard with my Son and his mate. The skipper and his mate were really friendly and knowledgable, they found a great place to fish and helped everybody as much as possible. We really enjoyed ourselves and the only criticism that I can give is that we left late and returned on time, we probably lost 15 minutes but had a great time and really good value.
Brilliant fishing trip

Very pleasant ferry crossing to Torquay and back to Paignton. Return ride included a relaxed and funny commentary over the speakers. Well worth the trip and a much more relaxing way to visit the Living Coast than taking the car. Ferries run once every hour
Great way to cut across to another part of devon for a couple of hours or even just enough being out at sea and enjoying the amazing views. Always friendly and cheerful and also reasonable prices. Always remember to take sun cream or apply before, especially during the height of summer.

Just got back from a fab week in Brixham. I had the luxury and privileged of sailing with these guys on a number of occasions. After using them numerous times in the past and being nothing but impressed, I decided to branch out to their other trips. Finally got to book on their fish and chips evening cruise around the bay. Had an absolute amazing time with them and was in love with the views from the boat on a sunny evening. The trip itself was excellent value. £20, and I had Fish and Chips from Rockfish (Which I believe usually retail at £14), a free alcoholic drink, and a 2+ hour cruise around the coast of the bay. You literally can't travel around Torbay with any more style ;) The staff were nothing but friendly and nothing felt like it was too much trouble for them. The trip took us up to the naturally eroded arch way, which at sunset is a phenomenal location for photographs. You can't help but be utterly amazed at the sight o the sun setting over Torbay. We were even lucky enough to see the infamous Sammy the Seal in the bay at the end of the trip. Perfect end to a perfect trip. The very next day I travelled up to Teignmouth with their brand new 2018 Round Robin Trip. Again, I was nothing but blown away by the beautiful coast line, and even more so with how close we were able to get to the coast line itself. The boat was able to get within 1-2 metres of the shore, which, as you can imagine, isn't easy to do. It takes years of studying the shore line and the waters before you are confident enough to get that close. Something you will only get from a local business, from locals who have spent years perfecting this art. John took us all up the coast line towards Teignmouth and showed us the various rock formations, ideal breeding spots for the birds etc. The trip eve included local history such as where houses have collapsed into the sea due to erosion. Again, the crew were very helpful and answered any questions. Especially when everyone else was looking at the remains of the collapsed house, and I literally couldn't see it. They pointed it out for me perfectly. (Thanks guys ;) ). The trip is nothing like you would expect. I've been that way several time, but never from the ocean. You don't realise how much you miss out on when you're stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. I highly recommend this tour to anyone after a family day out and want to try something different. Very well priced for a full day out, including a 2 hour boat ride, a day in Teignmouth, train ride, and a ferry if required. The trip itself is very well organised down to the last detail. You can clearly see the amount of planning that has gone into it. We're back down in a few weeks, and I've already planned on taking the rest of my family as well for them to experience it. The best part about it, is that they are dog friendly, meaning the whole family can join in. Best boat trips in the bay hands down. I won't ever use another company again. Thank you again guys, and I look forward to doing it all over again in a few weeks. Let's hope the weather holds out :D

In need of some landscaping, trees and general TLC. More benches and better protection from the road for dogs and children playing on the park would improve the park, too. This was the first park I studied for my research project called Park & Write

It's fine. There are no facilities to speak of , but there is limited free parking available for the local stores.

Parking is tight and at a premium. The park is large with a boating lake and other things. It's a good dog walking are if you have a dog. Two great beaches with shallow water for padding. Poss not the best place of inflatables because it's a large expans of water. Nice pub to get food and drink inside or outside. Coffee is best unlimited refills. Well worth a visit plenty to do and a great FLAT seafront walk
A great family orientated beach area. Lovely clean beaches and a beautiful green with family fun. Bouncy slides, quad bikes, mini golf, bumper and swan boats are there (pay to play) as well as a normal park play area. Just away from the park area you have Goodrington steam train station, we took the trip to Dartmouth and caught the ferry over the river for some crabbing. My tip on that is use Tuna as bait, the stinkier the better, just remember a tin opener. There is a water park in Goodrington but we didn't get the chance to try it out.
Kirkham St, Paignton TQ3 3AX, UK – 01803 522775
Kirkham House is a late medieval stone house in Paignton, Devon, England. It is believed to be a 14th or 15th century building. The house was designated a Grade II* listed building on 13 March 1951. There is no documentary evidence of who built Kirkham House or when. The design suggests that it is of 14th or 15th century origin, and it has been called "The Priest's House", suggesting the residence of a church official, or a priest of the Kirkham Chantry. The house may have been built as the residence of a prosperous local merchant. Mrs Ada Frances Jennings bequeathed the house to the nation in 1960, together with a sum of money for its repair. The stone and plasterwork have been extensively renovated, but many of the original oak beams and carvings can still be seen. The building contains reproduction furniture and tapestries in the medieval style.
Excellent . Shame it's not more open to th public and advertised more
